A Spectrophotometer is an instrument used to determine the intensity of various wavelengths in a spectrum of light and is commonly used for the measurement of reflective surfaces. A Spectrophotometer is used in textiles, paper, plastics, coatings, chemicals, paint and automotives. It is also used in physics, materials science, chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. They are widely used in many industries including semiconductors, laser and optical manufacturing, printing and forensic examination and in labs for the study of chemical substances.

We offer several types of service for all of your needs. We service both contracted customers as well as non-contracted customers and certifications. We offer full service, on-site service which we guarantee repairs in two business days. We also offer in house, should you decided to send us your instruments for repair or preventative maintenance. We guarantee a three-working day return upon receipt into our facility. We also offer services to those who do not have a contract with us. Our hourly rates are about half of what the vendor charges. We also guarantee our work for six full months! We also offer custom services to meet your business’ individual needs. If we don’t have an answer for you, we will find the answer.

We offer certifications carried out by Ceram Colour Standards Laboratory (UKAS Calibration Laboratory No 0420) and meet the requirements of:
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and BS EN ISO 9001:2000 which are recognized by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). We also hold accreditation via UKAS, which is recognized in Europe through the European Accreditation (EA) and internationally via the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-Operation (ILAC).
